Which Goldwing valve covers fit our Valkyrie?

I suppose you are referring to the original Valkyrie 1500. The Goldwing from 1988 thru 2000 share the basic engine platform . The Goldwing had different cams and hydraulic valve adjusters. But those valve covers will fit the Valk. Be sure to get the valve cover bolts with the covers . IIRC they are a different length than the Valk bolts.

Are you looking for a set? I have a pair of stock Valk covers I'll sell.

Here's a post with 3 different styles.

I've covered mine with spray on plastic wrap. Also bought a second set which was powder coated, just need to get the emblem. I'll be putting them on the bike this winter maintenance.

Ya...most of the Wing Covers are kinda nasty looking, and I don't see the '99 version show up at all. I'd like to do them up semi flat black powder coat with the ribbed logo polished metal, so even rough looking 99's would be okay at the right price.

I got hold of a couple of sets. Polished the ribs, powdercoated the bulk of the covers in gloss black then manually filled in the intra-rib areas with gloss black paint.

The effect is striking, especially with a lot of the other parts having been powdercoated the same color.

Pics to follow when it's "finished enough". Which might be a while, as I'm always finding something else to do with the bike.  uglystupid2

Found this photo in my photo library of some custom painted GW covers.  I think they look awesome.

Imagine that bike sans apehangers and with a lot more stuff blacked out.  Cool
