I talked to the guy on the phone, trying to get a little more info on it. Claims he's selling it for a friend and "it is what it is" which I understand. Sounded like an older guy that wasn't really into the job of selling it 'cuz when I asked a couple questions about it I didn't get any real answers. Then when I started to say before I'd lay out $2k without seeing it he simply said "have a nice day" and hung up on me, never letting me finish what I wanted to say. I wanted to say I need to take a look at it so I'd know if there was enough there to get my investment back. I never made a low-ball offer, never my intention to do so. If there was enough meat on the bone I would have taken it but now after being a bit of a jerk I'll not bother with him. At my age, I have better things(and people) to spend my time on. It does look repairable but not sure you'd get anything other than a bill of sale. I noticed it does have the Cobra side covers for the radiator and the way those things are selling, you could get darn near half your money back on just that alone.

I have his name & phone # but probably best to use the CL link first if you're interested. Considering what little info I got, $2k is overpriced but one can't know until you actually look it over.
