So, Federal Law prohibits the school from releasing the records without consent. Trump's lawyer sends a letter to the school denying consent and advising the school that legal action would be taken IF THE SCHOOL WERE TO VIOLATE THE LAW. And this is construed as a threat? This would assume that the school intended on violating Federal Law.

As a public school teacher, I can be arrested, fined, jailed, and have my teaching certification pulled for sharing grades. This simply looked like a reminder to a school.

As President Barack Obama was running for re-election in 2012, Donald Trump called him a “terrible student” and demanded that he release his academic records to the public. But when Trump launched his own presidential bid a few years later, his longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen sent letters to his alma maters, threatening to take legal action if any of Trump’s own academic records were ever made public.
I guess irony, hypocrisy is lost here.

Have you been drinking today? So Trump, (not a teacher) demands Obama school records be made public. Then Trump reminds the school they would be violating federal law if they release his records. That is complety 2 different things. I want some of what you are smoking today.

Trump offered to pay 5 million dollars to an Obama charity if Obama released his school records. How much are you going pay and what Trump charity for his? Everyone can ask. No one needs to release.

The predictability of the responses of the individuals in these types of threads borders on the pathetic. Have any of you EVER changed the position of one another? Is it actually enjoyable for you to toss turds back and forth at each other?
I can't imagine how some have the interest in these monotonous and repetitious discussions that always result in the same predictable outcome. Someone throws the bait in the water, someone else takes the bait and at the end of the fight nothing has changed. There is no enlightenment, just further division.
I am not suggesting all of the combatants need to have a Kum By Yah moment here, but dang! Can't ya find something to discuss that you all enjoy occasionally? Like maybe motorcycles or something?

There's a simple two-part plan for more pleasurable VRCC viewing Ask Mr. Meathead to change his handle to Meato. Block all handles ending in O I can honestly say I don't want to block anyone and I absolutely enjoy occasionally subscribing to spirited discourse. While I tend to disagree with a certain amount I see here (I think my tendencies fall more along Serk's) I actually do appreciate hearing different points of view but many times here it just becomes so tedious and predictable, no real new information is discussed, just the same drawings of the same battle lines. But hey, I guess if you guys actually ENJOY that then have at it. I just don't get it, thats all.
