Tavares

This weekend, Saturday.
Vintage boat races, downtown Tavares. Fun to go to and some amazing old relics take to the water.

Next weekend. Friday, Saturday, early Sunday
Sunnyland Antique boat festival.

Probably the second largest antique boat get together in the US.
Lesa and I will have a couple of boats on land and will be there Friday - Sunday.
Always a good event to come and see.

 cooldude Sounds like it will be a great show. My knowledge of Boats & motors is pretty slim. I do like the vintage boats and motors though. Maybe it'd be a good ride down and get an education. uglystupid2

Weather was nothing short of amazing. Overcast and breezy. Breeze was offshore so the race boats enjoyed an almost flat calm course.
Got to see a guy I worked with at OMC (Johnson/Evinrude Outboards) for over 20 years and haven't seen in 21 years!
He brought a little 13' E-Production boat down with an Evinrude 75 on it and ran it.

Was hanging around Lesa's 1953 Lyman today and looked up.
Who do I see sitting about 40' away and grinning like cheshire cats?
