My alternator just failed.  I remember MARS has a lot of Valkyrie experience. I can't find any contact information about him.  Is he still in business and does anyone have his contact info?

You didn't ask.....but. There are numerous reports of his alternators having noisy whine. A Hitachi GoldWing alternator is another option to consider.

This guy is the best. He will stand behind everything he does 100% absolutely, and he is an extremely fair individual.

You will find no better service.

Thank you gentlemen.   I'll check the brushes first, before I pull the trigger on big bucks.

How many miles on the alt? My brushes where frozen in their guide at 60K miles. Cleaned them out, moved freely, and still had about 50% life left.

I have 100,800 miles on her.  I said I'll check the brushes because it's a quick and easy thing to do.

Got a Ken Hemming rebuild.  Great service, fast turnaround.   Only hardship is installing the darn thing.  You have to hold your mouth just right  Cheesy
