Where's the best place to order the 3 o-rings for the rear tire assembly?  I'm getting ready to put a new rear tire on the bike and want to change those out.  Anybody have the P/Ns?  TIA

Dave,
I just received my order from Carolina Bike and Trike. It's a set of 5 (each) of the three o-rings. You're welcome to one of the set's if you'd like. It'll take me years to go through 5 sets of them.
Let me know. You can send your address here....

Bugslayer,

Thank you for your very kind offer.  I appreciate it, but I guess I need to order the set from CB&T.  I've got at the least 8K miles of planned trips next year, not counting just general riding, so I'll need the extras.  Thanks again though!   cooldude

Thats cool.

What kind of tire are you getting?  I took my rear wheel in today and had my well worn Venom R replaced with a Avon Cobra . Good lookin tire.   I was kinda surprised about the price. My local dealership had a WAY better price than any Internet deal I could find. I'll put it on tomorrow and see how it rides.

I'm going to try the darkside this time with a GY ATT 205/60R16.  I've had Cobras on the bike but knowing I'm going to probably need another new rear tire at the end of this next riding season, it just kills me to pay $225+ to put one on now when I can get the GY for about $100 cheaper and get 2 to 3 times the mileage on it.  If I don't like it, I won't be out alot of $.  Will probably change it out in the next couple of weeks once I get all my supplies in.

I'm guessing you are refurring to a Good Year tire. I had Freedom Cycles put a set of Avon's on mine about 3 months ago at a cost just under $600.00 for the set.  What's the cost of a GY ?

I can get one from Sam's (special order) for $125 or buy one online from Tire Rack for $135 delivered to the door.

I just had a rear Avon Cobra put on at the local dealership. $166 + $13 tax. I took the wheel in, and they charged me 23 bucks (+ tax) to mount it. (that included a new valve stem.) I was pretty pleased with their price.   Grin
