I have a 99 with 100,000 on it. I've heard of a screen someplace that can get plugged up. I think it may be between the clutch and the oil return galley. Is there a way to inspect or clean this on a regular biases?? Thanks for the help.

Not really. You have to remove the back case to get to it.

If your oil journals become plugged in your clutch basket is typically because the rivets from your clutch plates have come loose and start plug the oil journals thus causing smoke to come out of your exhausts either left or right possibly both

if u do normal oil changes u will never build up sludge which could clog it.
