Dial-A-Jet system ... how does that system work over and above the way the carbs work?
Looks like you should be able to add fuel with the carb jet just as well?
it helps to fill in any lean spots esp during colder temps when the carbs go lean.
so I jet the carbs as normal for best running at 70-75F. that jetting is good for +/- 25F.
I ride down to 30F sometimes colder if zero ice chance.
it actually will provide a finer gas/air mist than the carb can.
they tell u to run two main jet sizes smaller, I didn't like how it ran, to much delay sometimes and until the DJ kicked in. it actually is geared for higher rpm race conditions if u read all of their articles.
so every day riding I didn't like it.
I did a dyno run when I first installed it and it did provide a nice smooth power curve even the operator ask me what I did, sine he never saw that before.
the foam air filters have to be replaced every few yrs. $$$ so I make my own.
its not for everyone but it does work
