Just remeasured the R&M belly tank volume by pumping the contents out my "oiler" petcock rather than measuring the contents drained by gravity.  The same as the amount delivered in use.  Results are 344oz. A quart and a cup - 40oz. - short of 3 US gallons - better than the measurement I reported recently. So if you have a std tank, your total volume of fuel is ~1022oz or 7.9875 gal - pretty much exactly 8.0 gal.  Running it to the fumes incl reserve with my mileage of 34mpg that's a range of ~272 miles.

Thanks for that info Mark, I have pushed mine past 220 miles a few times but often wondered how much was actually down there.   cooldude

Yup, that's exactly what I got it too. Not having a fuel gauge makes it all guesswork. On Sunday all loaded up with pillion and luggage I decided to fill her up after 184 miles just to be on the safe side. She took exactly 20 litres which are the full contents of the main tank leaving me still with 10 litres in the belly tank giving me 41 mpg imp gal. [34 US gal]  cooldude This guesswork is all very well and good when you can fill up every 10 miles. But in the Scottish Highlands or rural France on a Sunday afternoon, you get nervous  Shocked
