Got my swingarm and wheel, ordered a Shinko 120/70-10 with a "P" speed rating(93mph). Note the large brake hum on one side, looks to be about 1.25" needs to come off. The axle slot on the SA looks like it's 15mm and the axle hole in the wheel appears to be 12mm. I'll either find some compatible bearings for the wheel or just sleeve the axle at the bearing. I'm going to have to come up with a couple long spacers as well. All in all, it's getting interesting, just need to scare up some 1x1 tubing. I plan to go to a local bike shop and see what they might have for a shock, which reminds me....I found a set of pics you sent me some time back and what you've put together is 'zactly what I have in mind. Not sure my flux spitter is up to it but will try first before hiring the welding done for me.  Wink

Nice looking parts. Is that arm from the rear of a motorcycle?

The SA is an aftermarket item for the Honda XR50, this one is extended 2".

Bill, looking at the pictures of your u-joint hitch, I see you have a receiver type hitch that looks similar to what I have. How did you get it to work with the saddlebag bracing and guard rails, mine interferes with those two center braces to the point I don't think I can get it to work. I'd appreciate any suggestions short of selling it.  Smiley
