You know how much I love my Majesty scooter! Fifteen years and over 65K miles. However it is beginning to look like there are problems with the snowmobile drive train, and it's not worth a massive investment, especially since Yamaha has stopped making them. Plus, it's not a Honda. It is currently running, registered and insured, and if anyone would like to have it, speak now! It does have a sound system with subwoofer, and is wired for one of the Garmins, but I also use that on the trike... Brett will be coming by in the near future to pick up the trike and take it home to straighten out the mess created by me not taking him up on his offer to change out my clutch some three years ago. He can say "I told you so..." and I will never disagree with him. Today I managed to get the center cover in, but while trying to hook up the battery, dropped the battery nut into that great void beneath the seat. Hardware store tomorrow, continue... I had seen the Honda 650 -700 dct bikes, but they looked a little tall for me. Then I came upon the NM4 Vultus DCT.... I looked for a used one... hey, it's a Honda... but couldn't find anything locally. Mentioned it to Shorty. He found one, went to check it out, talked the guy down a thousand, and today, he rode it over to Shorty's, where it is waiting for a visit from me to pick it up. Figure to go there in early April. Shorty noticed the abs light was on, so he found a manual on line. Raybo called and said Shorty had sent him a picture, and when was I going and coming back, he may meet me partway... YOU PEOPLE ARE EFFING INCREDIBLE! And since I am an old bat, I should have a batmobile....  smitten smitten smitten

Congrats Karen, that's an awesome looking machine. The seat height looks perfect as well. You will love the DCT.  If you wanna leave in early April you better get a move on!

Congratulations on your new scoot My Dear.....
Don't let Chris anywhere near it, or he'll have the footboards shaved to a minimum !!!

Don't let Chris give you a ride, you'll be surrounded by guerillas in Mexico before you know it.
Good luck with the new ride Karen. It's amazing how the urge to ride gets you to adapt to certain things.
And you are correct, this is a great group of friends.

HMMMMM. Let me think about this....sit in my office working or go meet Karen and ride the Wing back from Tennessee.    Call me crazy but I hear a voice calling "Start you Engines"

Let's ride!

Thank you all! Gary, you'd think I'd learn, but I wrote the exact same thing in an email to Brett... who said pretty much the same thing... Used to live in the past, but now I'm livin' in next week! Chris, riding with you is awesome! If I recall correctly, you watched me get pulled over on the Maine Turnpike by a Statey! Thank you, Ron I need lots of that! Terry, thanks for the well wishes, but really, the last thing I need are fat footrests! Thanks, Rick, hope to make it down your way sometime soon. Wall, guerillas might be a welcome change from the politicians here in MA. Thanks, Tony, now we both have new toys! Ray, I'm leaving on the second, and plan on spending a few days learning the new bike and riding the great roads that Shorty has discovered. I'll know more once I get there! Thank you all. Haven't been this excited since I got the Valk some 19 years ago!    smitten smitten
