Miska, a ten-year-old brown Tabby cat, has been fined, put in kitty jail, and even threatened with deportation, as well as euthanasia, over claims she is a ‘vicious animal at large.’ The adorable kitty – who has been photographed pulling what appears to be the feline equivalent of a smirk – is now the center of a legal battle between her owner and a former animal control manager in Bellevue, Washington. Her case is being overseen by four prosecutors, after she was found to be responsible for 30 of all 50 complaints about cats made to police in her home state of King County, Washington, over the last decade. Stressed owner Anna Danieli claims that one of their neighbors – former animal control manager Gene Mueller, is targeting their beloved pet for ‘crimes’ as petty as trespassing.

I don't know how to feel about this. Aside from it being a waste of resources. What kind of owner does this cat have, is it an indoor cat or free to roam?? I know locally, that cats are basically covered under the same leash and control laws as dogs. I have 2 cats and a dog, my cats are inside cats. Other neighbors around me though, think it is just fine to get cats and let them roam free. The mulch in my flower beds have become litter boxes, I always have cat prints on my car, truck, boat and bike. I stopped putting up bird feeders because they became bait sites for the cats. I like cats, but I hate stupid cat owners.
I know alot of the pics of this cat in question show it outdoors, I wonder if it is allowed to roam and mess up other peoples property???
