It is where ya come off the beach onto the business street, think it is the North end onto Route A1A.
Been awhile since I was on the beach. Has to of been when I had my 94 Harley Bagger. Had my Valk to the beach, but never rode on it. Hate trying to clean all that damn sand out of the kinks and crevices.

Very good picture for 1959........... I recently came across a stash of old photos, and slides... I fooled around with the slides on a flatbed scanner for a few minutes, and decided to order a special slide scanner for $60 from Amazon... it does a pretty good job... the red bagger picture is from a slide... the little scanner will digitize negatives also... Here's what a scanned in slide looks like at full resolution: -Mike

Mike, Great pics That's really neat, I'm glad you posted. I was looking at an ad for those slide conversion thingies. I found several hundred old slides from my Dad and want to do the same thing. It looks great! Is there a learning curve? Hard to operate? Looks to me like your Dad was the first "Darksider" Hate to start another one of those threads, but was that a CT on his bagger? I know that bridge, really cool to see that photo

I know that bridge, really cool to see that photo What you see is the product of the cheapest slide scanner I could find at Amazon ($50.00)... http://www.amazon.com/Innovative-Technology-Negative-Slide-Converter/dp/B00264GNR2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1259598066&sr=8-2It can do four slides at a time. The software is a pig, it uses up all the memory (probably a gig) on my laptop. I just use the scanner/software to obtain the jpegs, any editing or resizing I do with paint (my dinky old computer is a dog while the scanner software is turned on)... unless there's a way to learn how to make it run without eating up all my computer's resources, there was basically no learning curve... Four slides at a time, slow software, I wouldn't want someone to slam a deadline on me for processing thousands of slides with this thing, but I am happy with it so far... -Mike

I've scanned in many more slides, I'll avoid posting the one of me in diapers running up the front walk... found this pretty cool one... Here's me and my dog Sherrie and James Moore (painted signs with my father) in my front yard in the mid 60s... I guess those guys had glass windshields? -Mike
