I had one in my 98 Tourer. Took a little from the top end but who ever goes there?

But it did seem to make it a little zippier on the low end. You may need to run either mid grade gasoline or what used to be called "high test" to keep it from pre-detonating.
If you have ANY doubts at all that you can install it without letting the cam's move DO NOT attempt to do it but let Grumpy or someone else do it for you. It doesn't take but one revolution of the crankshaft to bend valves when they are misaligned.
Thanks for the info, Thunderbolt. I am well aware of the timing marks and the possibility of bending valves. I don't go top end either and was looking for a little more punch at low end. So for $5.00 each, I thought I would give it a try.
BTW - It was $7.50 for shipping even if you buy one, but I got both for that price. And they charge tax.
