Wow! What an adventure!  From Shorty and Dianne's wonderful hospitality and escorted rides on awesome roads while getting used to my NM4, Shorty's fabrication of some highway pegs, mounting and connecting the stereo setup, an oil change, and stuff I can't even remember...
Then there was meeting up with Raybo and GaryC in Chambersburg PA for the ride home. All while getting accustomed to an unfamiliar bike... Thanks for your patience, gentlemen! Riding it is fabulous, responsive, road grippy! Getting on and off, not so much. I've been spoiled by the low seat height of the Valk, and the step through of the scooter, plus the excellent seats on both. There are muscles in my upper thighs that I quit using years ago that are suddenly alive and screaming for mercy! Leg cramps all night, thank God for Powerade! So an Airhawk is on order, along with a Laminar lip, and exercises that are best described as uplifting, thanks, Raybo. Slept all night. Got up. Slept all day. Had breakfast. Going to have dinner and crash again (poor choice of words) The judge has allowed the records to be sealed for the trip down to TN in the rental car...Where on earth do you find friends like these? I felt so taken care of... Now watch it, Buster....

I've got an Airhawk for you.  Shoot me your new address (text it to me) and I'll get it on a slow boat to China heading your way

Thanks, Chris, but your skinny little butt requires much less support than my 3XL dupa... It's already ordered and on the way, but I appreciate the offer! You were discussed lovingly during my visit...

Karen,  Thanks for the excuse to get out of work and ride. I love your bike, it has great lines and is so futuristic looking. It really moves down the road and glad I was there to see you drag your first peg with it!  I wish you many miles of happiness with it. I had a great two days of riding and looking forward to riding with you again.

Karen, glad that you had a good back and forth trip and that you're home safe. Looking forward to seeing you on your new bike.  Cool

Wishing you many miles of smies on your new steed Karen...…… and the next time you're so close to SC, stop by and say hello.
Bike week has just started and the 2-wheelers have almost outnumbered the 4 wheelers already. Weather is supposed to be perfect for the next week. I have a feeing this is going to be the largest Spring Rally in SC history.

Ron, I was on a limited schedule for this trip, but I plan on a more leisurely visit in the future. Bernie, thank you, I still owe you for New York...
