I currently am using a Mustang solo seat. It seems to make me ride a bit higher up than I like. DoesIs  OEM seat for 2000 and up ride any lower than the Mustang? Any help would be appreciated

Don't know as the weather hasn't been cooperative here. Just made the swap from a 20 yr. old 99' stocker. Feels very firm and weighs 1 1/4 lb. more other than that https://www.powersedge.com/ has the best price.

I tried a corbin solo seat I got used for a good price for a few
rides. I didn't like it because it set me lower and a little further
back than my Ultimate seat...

The mustang seat sits you up a little higher than the stock seats. I have had all three. Mustang was the highest

Mustangs are higher than stock.  Good for a tall person, I love mine; but think there are probably better choices if your not particularly tall.

Ouch! My bad for not checking the S&H. Damn. Partzilla charged $9.95 + $7.03 tax but was the only vendor that had it in stock May 3 when I ordered it. Rocky Mountain is one of my tire suppliers. Yes shipping handling are definitely a factor in  pricing. The seat being an "oversize" item must be flat rate with particular vendor. I know was $10 dollars extra @ Dennis Kirk in 09' when I purchased a Mustang seat from them.
