I know I'm not the brightest bulb in the box, but I just don't see how the db 501 speakers are a direct swap out for the front stock speakers for the IS.
The hole alignment isn't even close.
Does anyone have pictures or thoughts on how to mount these things?

you need to cut the outer ring off of the old speakers and overlay it on the DB501 to act kind of like a clamp.  I used sealant on it to make the joint airtight.
