Does the king mate with the same pillion seat as the low boy?

As far as I know, yes. There is only 1 pillion seat listed in the standard/tourer section, options being studded or not. Available by itself, with nowhere to choose which rider seat you have, so it definitely appears that it's the same. The pillion seat for the IS has a different code than the std/tourer, but it too seems like it makes no difference which rider seat you're using.

I sure hope so, since I'm looking for a King to replace my Big Boy, and have every intention of using my current Ultimate pillion seat.

Yes the LOWRIDER fits the same as all the others and as said above I also believe there is only one size for the pillon.  They should all be interchangeable

The big difference is how the rider's backrest fits. On the lowrider and big boy, it fits into a slot in the rider's seat. Because the king has the rider position set back an inch, the backrest doesn't have space to fit into the rider's seat. Instead, it bolts to the same place that the pillion seat mounts, and the flat bracket follows the contour of the front of the pillion seat. But, as far as I know, the pillion seat is the same.
