I can loan you that, meathead.  It looks like a fun bike.

You're not as young (or svelte) as you once were.  Will you be adding me to your life insurance as a repayment guarantee?   Wink

You need to keep in mind that beyond a certain age there's two things you don't need: 1) a fast bike, 2) a fast woman. Both will kill you....really dead!  Wink

I still have the fast bike.

But you'll have one Hell of a smile on your face at the end with either of them.

Reading through the ad it looks like there has been a lot done to it as far as rebuilding and improvements (pretty much everything) and it is a neat looking "Old school" bike!

But man, 25K!!!

I'd think a pristine, unmodified, factory bike would bring that much. But not so much on a rebuild.
But that's MHO coming from a cheap Bohemian!
I also watch a lot of "American Pickers" and think they pay too much for some of that stuff too, especially on the bike stuff, so what do I know?

Hopefully all the repairs and improvements were done properly!

Oh, and I don't have near $25k to lend either... Sorry!

Remember, if you are on a bike and wreck with a car no matter how "in the right" you are you are going to lose. RIDE LIKE EVERBODY IS OUT TO GET YOU!!

It is amazing what people will pay for things. But, I would cough up 25k for that bike versus a bone stock one.

Had one, same color, same year. Not for the faint of heart to ride. That thing will throw you off the back. And no, I didn't fall off. But I was a helluva lot younger with no fear.
