Well been busy here in St. Louis.  Added the Cobra 6/6 pipes, a full set of Ultimate seats, all LED lights including turn/brake/headlight and the Custom LED flasher unit.  Added some bling chrome including the driveshaft, and the spark plug covers.  Took apart the carbs jetted them with .38 low speed, and .105 high speed, and cleaned everything out completely.   She now purrs on all 6 cylinders instead of just three.   My guess is the right side dries out and gums up more so than the low kickstand side, as I have seen several posts about the 1/3/5 side not firing and the problem being those three carbs were gummed up.

A note which I am sure most of you already know but I didn't.   The use of one of the hot wires as a feedback ground on the indicator light for the turn signals in the headlight housing unit causes 4 way blink even with the LED flasher unit.  The fix is to do one of two things, disable the indicator light or wire in two diodes join the two hot wires to the indicator light bulb and then ground the wire that has not been joined.

Despite being told that my problem was not the low speed jets, but rather the pilot jets, it was the low speed jets, cleaning out the pilot jets did nothing.

And of course while I was in there, I installed the quick release fuel line, and all new hoses and vacuum lines.   I used pure silicone hoses and lines with .100 wall thickness for rigidity as the silicone is fairly soft.

I have been unsuccessful in my search for indicator bulbs in LED for the kickstand, turn signal and neutral indicators.   Does anyone know if such a animal exists?   When I pulled the bulb to correct the problem of the 4 way flash I saw the bulb was a A14 3watt.  Anyway if someone has found a brighter LED bulb for those three indicator lights, would be most appreciative of a link to get them.

Well off till Monday, gonna go riding, great group, ride safe!

First off, if you'd put your general location where it will under your avatar, or in a signature, those of use near you wouldn't have to keep looking it up.

Second, I have a 6-channel sync tool (DigiSync), if you want to drop by to use it; I'm a stone's throw from 270 in Florissant.

Last, I gave up my search for LEDs for those tiny indicators. There is either too little demand, or they are too small to make. I installed a SignalBoss instead, which separates out the indicator from the signals, and also adds auto-cancel and 4-way flashing. My old cancel function often took more than a few attempts to hit the switch just right (and sometimes I just forgot), so auto-cancel works great for me. Also, I wished had 4-way flashers on more than one occasion, and now I do.

Done put my city in.   Two fantastic I would LOVE to have access to your sync tool.  I have never done one so if you are willing I would need your expertise on the procedure.    When I rebuilt my carbs, I just set everything exactly the same on the pilot jets, didn't touch the individual carb idle settings on the rack.  My phone is @314*825*0121....send me a text if you want to with your name and details, I don't answer phone calls from numbers I don't know and so far have kept the robo calls to a bare minimum.   And THANKS!

Are you looking for the indicator lights in the headlight bucket on the standard and Tourer?  If so, there is a company that sells the LEDs for these.  I upgraded my bulbs about 10 years ago.

Qty  | Product / Options                        | Price/ea |
============================================================
  2 | WLED-x5: 5 LED T10 Wide Angle Wedge Base Bulb|  $ 4.14 |

I got everything except the flasher unit I got a LED plug in flasher unit that handles all four signals just like the original flasher unit just pull out the old flasher unit and plug this one in.  It is from Customled.com from Ultrabrightled.com, they are right here in Earth city in St. Louis where I live.   I got the recommended bulbs using their vehicle bulb finder.  They don't list the instrument bulbs or the small indicator bulbs, but they do list the ones you need for the front and rear signals, and the brake/taillight.

I since read the article on the on the LED's used in the two instrument cans the speedo and the tack and have just ordered them.   My headlight is also a LED, and I use the Cyclops 7000 lumen.  I think the URL is cyclopsadventuresports.com.   Be aware that on the Valkyrie they have a ground on the indicator bulb in the headlight that uses a moving ground, switching the ground from one side of the socket to the other depending on which blinker you turn on, you have to either disable that indicator, or you have to solder in two diodes and turn one side into a dedicated ground, and join both left and right side 12+ wires together to one side of the indicator socket and the other side a permanent ground.  Otherwise you get the 4 way flash.   installing the diodes also creates a permanent 12+/neg socket and will also solve the problem of polarity sensitive LED bulbs.  Customled.com also sells those diodes.

I've read that these LEDs work in the turn / neutral / high beam indicators in the  headlight bucket (standard / tourer) with no modifications.  Plug and play.
