I can't even begin to explain my excitment to attend my first Inzane Rally. I have owned my 98 standard since April 2008. I have wanted to attend Inzane for many years but something always came up to prevent my being able to attend. Well finally the planets were aligned properly and I get to travel to Taos. I will be leaving Noble, OK early Saturday morning and spending Saturday night in Clayton NM. I hope to be in Taos by noon on Sunday so I can help with the setup. I have never met any members of VRCC but feel like I know sevral of you and I'm very excited about meeting you. Prayers that evryone arrives in Taos safely and has a safe ride home.

When you arrive at ground zero in Taos just be prepared for how FAST Friday morning departure time shows up.  Work a table Monday morning preferably registration.  I do NOT generally promise much to anybody BUT I will promise you this-work the registration table you will NOT be sorry you did.  Every attendee has to pick up their envelope. THATS How you meet lotsa folks. Not only putting handles to faces then faces to their Ride.  Good Luck Have Fun and RIDE SAFE. |

I presume you're going over the mountain through Eagle's Nest. A most wonderful ride. In Cimarron, turn left and stop at the hotel(St John) where several famous people have stayed. Bullet holes in the ceiling and good history.

I clearly remember my 1st InZane ........ you'll have a great time!
All kinds of events are already prepared for you to enjoy if your willing. If not, do your own thing and you will still have a good time. All will make you feel welcome.

 Wow, I'm glad things lined up for you especially after 11 years. Being able to attend your first InZane should be a Great experience.  You will truly enjoy. The folks are corgel and I encourage you to step up and introduce yourself. You will be glad you did. The atmosphere is awesome and I only wish I could of made it this year.  A beautiful area for riding no doubt God's Country. Enjoy yourself and jump in like you've been before and you will have a Great time!

Last year was my first Inzane, and I would've been at this one except for foot surgery
I had a great time last year and met some good people...Like everyone says, talk to people and they will talk with you, don't be shy and have fun

Thank You for for all the positive comments, I really appreciate it. I am in Clayton tonight wondering why I didn't ride on into Taos today. It would be sweet if I was needed to help with registration so I could meet more VRCC members. I thought I might see a few of you on the trip out today but I didn't see a single Valkyrie, except a trike at a bike dealer in Pampa, today. I did take the untraveled path today and not much traffic at all, so it was a great trip and the weather was great. I'm excited to meet everyone .

LOL! It's mixture but there will be some nice folks there (here). From the horses mouth! The vast majority of the folks you'll meet will be and welcoming and friendly. Don't let the others rain on your parade. |

my first Inzane was actually D O T S (Dragons Over the Smokies) which was not an official Inzane I had so much fun that we have made as many as we could
Marrying off children however has kept me from one other and also this one.
Just standing next to your Valkyrie in the parking lot will get you to meet lots of folks, opportunities to meet nice people abound at Inzane
Just enjoy it and ride YOUR ride and be honest with folks about your riding style (smell the flowers and stop often for pictures and to walk around,,,,,,,, ride like the wind and stop only for cigarettes or whatever and you will be smiling for weeks
