I am back in my home (den).  Wow! What a wonderful trip this has been!   cooldude

I rolled into my driveway about 1pm today after 3 days of hard interstate riding in high temperatures.  It was a crazy end to an otherwise wonderful trip for me.  This entire excursion had rolled out quite differently than our original concept of it.  I am not complaining.  We didn’t ride anywhere that we had originally thought we would.  Instead, we rode all over the south in weather much cooler than normal and in the process, we rode several well known motorcycle roads.  From the time I rolled out of my garage, till today when I rolled back in, I put 6787 miles under the saddle of my Valk.

More of this story will be posted in a few weeks.

Glad to hear you are back home safe.  It was a pleasure getting to know you. I look forward to more tales of your adventures with DDT.
Traveling with Bruce is an experience in itself.

Outstanding!   I look forward to hearing about it.

Now, I'm thinking that grass may need some attention.   Evil

Sweet Cheeks,
It was my pleasure getting to know you.  You are one of those rare individuals that have a lot to offer and the self assurance to live life your own way.

Traveling with Bruce was a great experience for me!  The places he knows and the easy pace that gives a person time to enjoy the sights is a great gift.

Rams,
I put the grass on auto pay before I left.  It looks way better now than when I mow it.

Valkorado,
Yes! Quite the excursion!  No Canada this time.  Both the weather and some “home” factors shut down our plan to head north from Taos.  Maybe another time will present itself.  I hope it does.

Meathead,
It will take me a few weeks to get those stories and some photos organized and posted.  Now that I am home, there are a number of things requiring my attention and time.

Trout dude,
I am glad you made it home well too!  I heard you had a little discouragement with that.
See you soon my friend.
