Copper looking rings? I bought some but I haven’t seen the old ones.

The old ones are pressed onto the bottom of the head. Use a dental type pick to remove them. When put in and compressed they are flat and can hide in plain sight.

 Mine are like this

https://flexitallic.com/ca/product/style-625/

You will have to type 625 in the search box, the link only takes you to the home page.

I just ordered a set of 6, and have one right in front of me (new). I took a pic of it, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to post it here. Says enable attachments? Where do I enable. I thought I could just copy and paste, no such luck. Anyone wants to school me, I will post the pic I just took.

My recent purchase of 6 gaskets, look nothing like the link site above. Mine have a metal ring with and asbestos type inner material, which compared to that copper ring noted in the above post, look like they will absolutely seal the exhaust.
I picked mine up on Ebay, for 12.00, although they incorrectly listed and shipped only 5 gaskets. They shipped me another  to make 6, and have deleted that listing

You can link to Internet images from posts on this board, but you can't
actually upload your image into your post.

There's a million free sites that will store your pictures. I use google, some other
people here use postimage.org.

I once bought some fiber gaskets that are probably like the ones you have... here's
an image of them, you can click on it:

https://sites.google.com/site/hubcapsite7/misc/gaskets.jpg

To make an image show up in a post, just surround its URL with image-tags like in
this example:

Here's my gasket image URL surrounded by image-tags...

I hated the fiber gaskets, much prefer the hollow copper ring OEM ones.

Yep, that is exactly what mine look like. They look like they will do fine. Thanks for the info on posting pics.
