I saw many of you at the INZANE before this one at Roanoke. Back then I was more than 20 pounds under my normal weight and in the middle of chemo therapy. I was and still am so thankful I was able to make that trip.

Now finally a year later I am solidly in remission and just found out today that my platelets have doubled in the last three months. My doctor was very happy and so was I.

I still have the leukemia but my doctor thinks I should have many years of trouble free remission going forward now that the platelets are at a safer level.

Don’t mind at all my brother. My hematologists may need a cardiologist if the cancer vanishes but that’s a bridge we can cross when we get to it.  angel

Glowing huh. Well I know I’m not pregnant so it must be Judy’s good cooking finally sticking to the ribs as they say. A few Samuel Adams dont hurt either.

Seriously if feels great to be like “normal” again

Thanks

Jeff,

Great news! Really glad to read this update... Yeah, a couple of Sam Adams or similar beverage can indeed work wonders, huh... Of course, Judy surely contributed with her home cooking and TLC... Happy for you both. Looking forward to the next time our paths cross.

Baldo, I was so happy I high fived my dr and asked her if she wanted to go for a motorcycle ride since I did ride to the appointment. (she hates motorcycles). I thought I’d get a dirty look, but instead she said “OK but when you hit 50K”.

It is a good day
