Frasier in Southeast Tennessee

« on: July 19, 2019, 01:23:05 PM »

Just got back from the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Birmingham Alabama.

Really nice motorcycle exhibit, if you have not been there, I highly recommend it.

Well worth the time and expense to visit.

Only saw 1 Valkyrie a red and white 1997 and 2 Runes.

Someone needs to  gift them an Interstate.

cooldude Dang Pete, several of us were just up that way about 3 weekends ago. We actually were stayiing over at the Cheaha State Park for a couple nights. I missed you at Gulf Shores a while back and now again at BMS. It is an awesome place and yes the RED/White Valkyrie is a Christj look alike Roll Eyes
With the new updates planned at Cheaha State Park could be Great Valk Gathering in the future. It is a great destination. I hope it was a geart ride, heck you were only 35 miles away from the highest point in AL.  coolsmiley

Was at cheaha several years ago when riding East Alabama to florida, nice place. The ride was all interstate, down and back in a day, so so. But barbers was great. Do not know why I waited so long.

There is a Vintage bike weekend at Barbers in October that everyone should see. vintage races, swap meet, and lots more events. Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley N.C. is a place you should go also.
