In what is turning into an annual thing, we're planning a ride on New Year's day.  Details are quite fuzzy at the moment, but put it on your calendar anyway.

More to come.

We will be camping in Galveston down at the State Park.  We might go, if it isn't too early on New Year's Day..   Cheesy

I'm not in charge of this one (not even sure we'll be in town, may be riding out near my in-laws' in Austin), but I don't imagine that the departure time will still be at fuzzy time.

So, what do you Houston folks do on your New Year's Day ride?

Up here in DFW, we call it the "Polar Bear Ride".  If it's warm, it becomes the "Solar Bear Ride". Both result in a ride, eats, and then some dunking of body parts into cold bodies of water.  Some years, it's all in - others, it's less.  But there's always a lake involved.
