Believe it or not I was around when the Honda Cub came out.    Like the article said it was awesome and I wanted one sooooo bad.  I was about 10 yrs old.   Then honda came out I think with the Honda 65cc and then the 90cc and then the Honda Super 90.    I remember that my friend Clifford Curtis got one of the first 65 or 60cc Hondas and I used to just druel over it.    At the age of 14 I finally got the parents to ok me getting a 2 stroke Allstate Compact......50cc if I remember right.....rode that sucker all over the North Side of Houston.  At 14 in Texas you could get a regular drivers license if you rode a motorbike under 5 brakehorspower.......I had gained my freedom.....ha

I saw a new one at the Slimey Crud Run in soutern WI this past spring. According to the owner, they still sell them in Japan. While he was there, he disassembled it and sent it home. Nice little bike!

This is the motorcycle that changed the face of Asia.  All of a sudden, real mobility was available to millions of very poor people, and with mobility came increased trade and a step up in life style.

It's amazing what some of those folks do with their bikes! Of course, if that's all you got, you gotta do whatcha gotta do. That photo of the guy haulin wood is crazy..
