He's been in the Oak Ridge Medical Center, (990 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge TN 37831, main number is 865 835 1000) for a couple of days, and is currently in Room 2 of the ICU, or will be, when his procedure is done. He was having difficulty breathing a couple of days ago, and went to the Emergency room, where they found blood clots in his left leg. They started him on a blood thinner, and suggested no motorcycle, because he could bleed out if he had an accident. Thank God for trikes. He said if the clots had traveled to his brain or heart it would be worse. Apparently they have traveled to his lungs, because he's in the ICU having his lung catheterized today. The staff was very helpful, and I know that's where he is.

Lung catheters are in place, and Shorty has to lie flat for 24 hours to let the meds dissolve the clots. He sounded good on the phone!

Had a nice chat with the short guy this evening.  He is still in ICU but off the danger list.  He was sitting up and sounded good.  Will probably go home Friday.

Just read this. Sorry to hear Shorty. I hope you pull off the same miracle Kathy did. Modern medicine is incredible. The Drs in Tennessee are just as good as the ones here in Boston.
Get well my brother.
