I heard you say you would post the video, thanks.  Did you have a long queue getting back thru the toll booth.

We had to ride on the grate coming onto the UP--and it was WINDY!!!!

In '06 I went over it but the paved lanes were closed for repairs. It was cool looking down 300' to the water.  I won't forget the ride.

I’ve not been there, but watching the video brought back memories of the Oakland Bay Bridge. I was 18 with a new Yamaha 750. It was very unnerving the first time.

Michael...thx for posting that. Brings back memories of when we did that crossing on our way home from Morgantown Inzane. I still have the video Mark took of us...I'm right in front of him on that so I get to see me ride across Smiley I don't recall much wind or traffic on that day, but I do remember making sure to concentrate on the road in front of me instead of gazing out across the water for too long.

I been across both. The Mackinaw is more exciting. I kinda like riding the grated side.

We rode the bridge on Saturday, low wind and amazing views, but that was the whole Yooper weekend for us.

Mike,

We had a beautiful sunny day on our return from Morgantown.
Hope you and family are well.
