Not much of a hint I'm thinking. Based on the bodies of water comment, still could be between the Mississippi and Atlantic which is generally where most of the guesses have been....such as Charlotte. The Big Muddy doesn't flow into the Atlantic so it meets that criteria. Checking Google maps, it appears Gadsden and Charlotte are close to the same mileage if I take the ferry across Lake Michigan...which would give me a chance to visit a former daughter-in-law in the Lansing, MI area and a cousin in Midland. Kinda fun to dream a bit.  Smiley

Yeah, I'm not so sure to which bodies of water Willow was referring.  In a very early clue, I said east of the Big Muddy and west of the Atlantic.

I was taking Willow's highly obfuscated "clue" to be a hint that no more real clues would be forthcoming at this time...

Or possibly I'm just missing something highly obvious in his statement, a "can't see the forest for the trees" scenario, but if so it's lost on me.

Yes, that's what I had in the back of my mind so to me it was just a repeat of the same info in different terms. I would much prefer it(Inzane) to be further north than either Alabama or NC but will go with whatever comes across my screen.  cooldude

Serk is correct but for the rather obscure clue that someone had guessed correctly, etc.

The two bodies of water to which I referred were the Mississippi and the Atlantic.  No clue at all.

I am pretty certain that the location is within the bottom Serkle.

In looking for hotels that could accommodate our group that are located in the North GA mountains (my first guess) I've come up with a big fat nothing.

However,  Greenville, SC the does fall within the bottom Serkle and does have venues that are more than capable of hosting us.

Greenville, SC is also an easy ride into the mountains of North GA, Western NC, and Tennessee.

So, I'm going to go out onto a limb and guess that we'll be in Greenville, SC for Inzane XX.

I certainly don't envy the task of finding a good location that meets the required parameters.

Thank you Staff for doing the work that you do!

Oh, and it is between two bodies of water, the larger not being that into which the smaller flows.

Dang Carl,
with this I was going to guess  Douglas Lake and the French Broad river.

OOOOO...and easy one. Someone in Florida call the Osceola tag office with that tag number, then call those folks up and ask where they stayed.  Wink

Wonder if the staff would admit to it if someone were to ID where the bear carving is located! Not saying who or where, just curious.  Roll Eyes

Just so y'all know, we hoped to sign the contract tomorrow before we leave, but that's not going to happen.  A small snafu... not enough to derail the negotiations, but enough to delay the contract signing for a few days.

Are they balking at my suggestion of the new Mr. and Mrs. Naked Inzane contest being held in the lobby?

They weren't too keen on having the contest in the lobby, but they will allow the winners to pose in the lobby (next to the silver sculptures), as long as there is no sticking of body parts through the wood sculptures.

The geographic center between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans is in Kansas.... isn't it?

...In Willow's back yard, right? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  [/quote]

LOL!  Wouldn't that be nice?  I don't though normally refer to oceans as "flowing into".

I was just at the geographic center of the contiguous 48 this past weekend.  It's only about two hundred miles west of me.  No large hotel.   Smiley

I stayed in a small motel just outside of Mankato, KS right on 36 on my way home from IZ this summer.

Hey!  I think I stayed in that same motel.  Well, maybe I just rode past it.

I don't think we'll hold InZane there this year.  It's outside of the Serkle.   Wink

Probably a query too far just yet but..... If staff are feeling generous, the state that the possible location resides in, which side did they fight for in The War of Yankee Aggression?

Shrinkage opportunity alert!

Not all states officially declared their allegiance.  However, I can tell you, the site under consideration is not in one of the solid blue states.

Yesterday I was discussing possible destinations within the Serkle with the spousal unit, in ear shot of Kali, and mentioned we'd have to see if Kali could ride it or not based on how much she rides the Valk between now and then.

She rode the Valk to school today.
