Went to Lake Shipp today for an antique outboard event.
The Grumpster himself was there! Saw him, walked up to him, and promptly called out  " Hey Skinny!"
He looked great! Coming up on Tuesday he starts in with the doctors again on a game plan to beat the rest of the cancer.
Didn't get to spend a lot of time with him but it sure was great to lay eyes on him and talk for a little while.

Good to hear Bills able to get out and have some fun.  It's a hell of a way to lose some weight, but when all is said and done, the Grumpsters going to be a slim, trim dude!

Wishing you a quick, complete recovery!

No boats for me yet, just needed to get out of the house.  All the crap starts this week, PET scan, radiation, chemo and even a sample taken from my left lung. I think the lung spot is from a broken rib that punctured a lung years ago, but they want to be sure. The PET scan will show where the cancer is, and determine how heavy the treatment needs to be. Hoping and praying the scan only shows minor stuff.

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Oh Hell, Grumpy....... Keep losing that weight and pretty soon Murphy can just lift you in the boat!
