I used my bscrive inspired jack adapter again today, and removed the front
wheel this time... I like to jack my 1500 barely up off the ground to work on it,
and now I can do the same to the 1800. I pulled off the front fender and the
calipers and rolled out the wheel. And took it to the Suzuki shop to have
them install the new Pirelli they ordered for me...

When I first got the 1800 I was convinced the way to make a jack adapter was
to have the rear of the adapter come to the shock pivot... I made such an adapter
and it wasn't very stable... Bscrive's adapter idea is to have the rear come to the
empty centerstand mounting points, and it is way more balanced  cooldude

Now I have all new hydraulic fluids, all new brake pads front and rear, fresh oil
and filter and a new front tire. And a rear tire with 5,000+ Inzane miles on it...
Chewy isn't so chewy now that I don't ride the chipseal roads to work anymore,
and the rear tire is in pretty good shape for 5,000 miles...

It is not my design. I got it off the F6C site a number of years ago from a member on there.

I don't want to take the credit for something that I didn't invent.

The Avon I had on there went 13 or so thousand miles, I liked it. It might have been
one of those "I get 20,000 miles on a front tire" tires if I had wanted to run it into the ground  Wink ...

Now I have a Pirelli Angel GT 120/70 on there... anyone tried one of those yet?

The best back tires I've used on the black bike so far are Michelin PR5 and Pirelli Angel GT, so I
hope it will be good...

That's a great lift. I'd be happy just to have a concrete floor  cooldude ...

I ran my Pirelli on a good ride yesterday. It sings in the curves, but seems
like a good tire... we'll see how it lasts...

LOL about the floor, been there done that. Was noticing how well you set it up though.  cooldude

What Pirelli did you get?

I still have a PR4 GT waiting in the wings but was considering changing and the Pirelli was in the consideration. I dont like that singing but its not a deal breaker especially when I heard that some are getting some real good mileage out of them. But the Micheline 5 was a real consideration also even though they dont make a GT in it.

Angel GT... a friend runs them on his Concourse and he
rides hard, he likes them a lot. I used a rear one once,
I liked it as much as a PR4...

Pirelli Angel GT II are the best tires I've ever had. So comfy and smooth, I love them !  cooldude
