I have great memories of riding with my dad back about 30 years ago. My father is still around but gave up riding years ago.  Last year I took my mother for a short ride this will be a long lasting memory as well.
Neither of my kids ride however yesterday while on vacation in Jamaica with my wife and kids we went for a ride on ATVs it was a great day!

My son and his girlfriend and I took a nice curvy road to a town 30 mi from home just to go to lunch. After lunch he asked if we could switch for a few miles on the way back. (he has a Honda VFR). I said, sure, and we headed back. i felt a little crowded on that bike, but he and his girl were riding in comfort, she especially. after a few miles he asked if i was doing ok and i said i'm fine, so we stayed on each others bike all the way home. boy howdy, does that VFR kike to dive into a corner  coolsmiley

Dad Didn't ride, neither of my Sons have an interest, but 3 of my 4 brothers got the bug back in the 60's.  2 of us still ride.

The picture kind of reminds me of the 3 bears...….where's Goldilocks?

Congratulations.

Goldilocks was home during this ride.  I remember the first time I rode with my son years ago.  My wife was on the back of the Valk,  but it wasn't long before she asked me to take her home...."Too much testosterone here!!" she said. I have 103,000 miles on that Interstate....60,000 miles with her on the back.  Roll Eyes

Wanna bet your son's girlfriend will be asking him to get a Valkyrie for comfort, etc. over the VFR now you gone and done it!    Roll Eyes

Reminds me of my kid on his fjr1300 I reluctantly allowed him to take his girlfriend on back for a shorter ride and her never being on a cycle before did not like it.  I wonder what she would say if on the back of my Valk I/S since my wife LOVES the back of my I/S but not so much my scooter....  My wife went once on the back of his fjr1300 my kid driving and she also did not like it at all probably even worse comfort than my scooter.
