One of the later Amendments prohibits anyone from serving more than 8 years as President. The amendment was passed during Truman's administration, and it did include a loophole for Truman if he wanted to exercise it (which he declined). It might include allowing a Vice President who served less than 2 years of his elected President's term to do 2 terms of his own. I'd really need to read it to give a 100% good intreptretation.
This amendment was spurred by FDR getting elected to 4 terms (but he had just started on the 4th when he died from a stroke in Warm Springs GA)
It would be hard for me to imagine worse than Trump getting re-elected in 2020, but it can happen. Let's just say I don't really approve of treating the office of President as the biggest reality show ever, starring Trump.
Ok, I apologize that my weird attempt at humor went over your head.
I'm sure all that paid attention in school, no matter how long ago, are aware that no President can serve longer than two terms, unless under certain conditions.

NOT getting re-elected in 2020 especially with the group of Dems running right now!
