... said Beto O’Rourke in last night's democrat debate. In a country where 50,000 sick
people killed their own selves last year, the democrats think they need to force their
way into your house and take your rifle... well... they won't actually do it, they'll
expect the police (who we should generally regard as underpaid heroes) to do their
dirty work. What a mess things would be...

another UN Globalist Fifth Column member, who has sold out American for extreme wealth and power.  Remember he is the one who wrote that he wanted to run over children with his car. who fed baby turds to his wife in a sandwich, she is still with him. he has stated that he goes out into the woods and eats dirt. been arrested a few times, one for breaking into a house.

Goal 11) Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable

Translation: Ban all gun ownership by private citizens, concentrating guns into the hands of obedient government enforcers who rule over an unarmed, enslaved class of impoverished workers. Criminalize living in most rural areas by instituting Hunger Games-style "protected areas" which the government will claim are owned by "the People" even though no people are allowed to live there. Force all humans into densely packed, tightly controlled cities where they are under 24/7 surveillance and subject to easy manipulation by government.

Total enslavement of the planet by 2030
As the UN document says, "We commit ourselves to working tirelessly for the full implementation of this Agenda by 2030."

If you read the full document and can read beyond the fluffery and public relations phrases, you'll quickly realize that this UN agenda is going to be forced upon all the citizens of the world through the invocation of government coercion. Nowhere does this document state that the rights of the individual will be protected. Nor does it even acknowledge the existence of human rights granted to individuals by the Creator. Even the so-called "Universal Declaration of Human Rights" utterly denies individuals the right to self defense, the right to medical choice and the right to parental control over their own children.

The UN is planning nothing less than a global government tyranny that enslaves all of humanity while calling the scheme "sustainable development" and "equality."

1984 has finally arrived. And of course it's all being rolled out under the fraudulent label of "progress."

I'll give Robert Francis O'Rourke credit for one thing - at least he's willing to be open and honest about his intentions. Ya' know every person on that stage wants to do that as well, but at least he's brave enough to flat out say it.

Not really Rob all the Dems want to take your freedom these days. Show me one who dont want more (unnecessary gun laws). Too many on the books now. What they dont seem to grasp is that when they totally outlaw firearms the only Ones with them will be the outlaws. I carry everyday for my protection and maybe even others around me. I shoot often to keep my target eye good. But have Zero criminal record. How will taking my firearms benefit anyone other than the government? That dont want any of us to do what our founding fathers wanted?

I am still a Democrat who wants citizens to have guns, we have good laws, we have sick criminals

But y'all have to face the fact that this is a very divided country

A priority has to be changing the dialog.  Agree the corruption is rampant, between big pharma, big oil, big monsanto, pouring millions into campaigns

But that corruption is a big reason we have our present POTUS as he is outside the system and that is why they are rabid dogs to go after him at any cost including lying killing and making crap up.

I turned off the debate as I got too sick from swallowing bile

Build the wall, deport people who overstay like they do in the rest of the world, end free crap for people who are not here legally, put people in "new versions of Ellis Island" while they wait for their hearings

Flame away I aint scared.

Meh... Odds of Beto ever being nominated are pretty much zero.

I don't know about you guys, but whenever someone suggests *more* restrictions on guns, that just makes me want to buy another gun...
 Grin

God knowns they made a number in California and its byzantine and probably unconstitutional gun laws.

That being said: Didn't Bush senior made illegal imports of AK-47's in the late 80s?

Oss may be correct.   The fact is, Candidate Trump was not my favorite candidate but I sure as hell was not going to vote for HRC and the Clinton Mafia.   So, IMHO, the Dems are at fault that we now have President Trump in the White House.   They can point that finger at themselves.  Had they had a better candidate on their side of the ballot, someone else might be in the office.   Can't say for sure who I would have voted for in that case, being a Conservative, I look at their positions on the issues I care about.

Of the candidates that may be on the ballot this time, the only moderate is former VP Biden and I don't see him beating DJT.

yes he did for he was another sheep in wolves clothing. he is the one who started talking about a new world order, aka UN Globalists taking over, plenty written about him the NWO. he was cia. he encouraged american jobs to go over seas, did a lot of it when president. did he secured huge money for his family when President Gerald Ford appointed Bush to be Chief of the U.S. Liaison Office in the People's Republic of China?

Yup, and President Reagan made the registration of any new machine guns illegal and President Trump has enacted more gun control than President Obama did.

The Republicans aren't angels, but pointing out their relatively minor flaws on self defense civil rights as justification for supporting a totalitarian anti-civil rights Democrat would be like pointing out a minor flaw in Chromium as justification for switching to Internet Explorer...

less we forget clinton's idea of gun control

In the name of Federal Gun Control.

27 years ago August 21-31, 1992, an FBI sniper shot Vicki Weaver in the head as she held her baby at her home in Ruby Ridge, Idaho. The sniper also shot her husband Randy Weaver in the back. The day before a US Marshal shot their 14 year old son, Sam Weaver, in the back, who then died. Even the family dog was shot and killed. The order given to ATF and FBI agents... “shoot any male with a gun”.

This all over a shot-gun barrel that was to short... a violation of federal regulations enacted by Gun Control legislators.

While Jim Weaver was a racist and likely other undesirable things, he was still an American with constitutional rights. A grand jury even exonerated him of the alleged gun violations, and a civil jury awarded the Weaver daughter over 3 millions dollars for blunders and cover ups made by the FBI and ATF.

This is what the enforcement of gun control really looks like.

Wake up! AR does not stand for assault rifle it stands for armalight. Do you need clarification?

I hope he doesn't have any guns.

He wrote this at age 15.

“Then one day, as I was driving home from work, I noticed two children crossing the street. They were happy, happy to be free from their troubles. I knew, however, that this happiness and sense of freedom were much too overwhelming for them.

“This happiness was mine by right. I had earned it in my dreams. As I neared the young ones, I put all my weight on my right foot, keeping the accelerator pedal on the floor until I heard the crashing of the two children on the hood, and then the sharp cry of pain from one of the two. I was so fascinated for a moment, that when after I had stopped my vehicle, I just sat in a daze, sweet visions filling my head.

“My dream was abruptly ended when I heard a loud banging on the front window. It was an old man, who was using his cane to awaken me. He might have been a witness to my act of love. I was not sure, nor did I care. It was simply ecstasy. As I drove home, I envisioned myself committing more of these 'acts of love,' and after a while, I had no trouble carrying them out. The more people I killed, the longer my dreams were. ... I had killed nearly 38 people by the time of my twenty-third birthday, and each one was more fulfilling than the last.”

Maybe he want to take guns so he can carry out his fantasies?  Cheesy

Funny, when this guy says "We're going to take your ARs" what he actually means is this.

He's going to hide behind people armed with "full autos" while he pays people armed with "full autos" to take our "semi-autos" or kill us.

What a hypocritical, dishonest, cowardly, un-American moron.

I also find it interesting that someone who claims to be a former "burglar" wants to outlaw common home defense weapons. Seems like a conflict of interest to me.  Grin

I do find it amusing that after decades of claiming "they don't want to take our guns" they have finally come out of the closet.
