Lots of infirmities, ailments, and assorted other maladies being reported lately... and now I've got one more to add to the list. Our good friend, Harley Joe, aka HJ and Joe Peterson of Clinton, TN, is still in the hospital. He had a heart transplant several months ago in Nashville, and he hasn't been home since.
The surgery itself reportedly went rather well, and he was kept for observation to ensure no rejection occurred. He was later transferred to rehab... but things have been up and down ever since. I've been exchanging text messages with his wife, Jenny, now and then, but I haven't wanted to become a bother to her, him, or anyone involved. My information is, therefore, quite sketchy and very limited.
At present he is back in the hospital on a ventilator. Prayers have been requested. I haven't actually spoken with him directly in several months, so I assume things aren't going so well for him... A truly great guy dealing with a truly serious condition... Hope y'all can help with Jenny's request...

I've called him several times over the months and only got voice mail. I think Rodney talked to him a few weeks ago about buying his Interstate but I'm not sure  I always like Harley Joe he's a good one . |
