I rode the scooter to Tulsa Saturday for his mods---milling the heads raises the compression ratio from 9.6 to1 to 12.5 to 1 ! Premium fuel only!...maybe airplane gas...Now I can see why I need to find the original black box..

research how aluminum heads can tolerate more compression due to greater heat dispersion of the aluminum.

last time anybody wrote about AR mods and resulting compression it was only 11 to 1, interesting it is now 12.5.

good luck

I'm pretty sure it's not 12.5:1. That is really high.

Attic rat mods are designed to keep Honda level reliability.  11:1 sounds more like it to me.
