Guns, I mean.

After getting my first 9mm (a Sig Sauer p226 Navy) and a .45 acp (Sig Sauer p220 Equinox), a visit to the range and I found this beautiful set: matching 9mm HK USP stainless, fullsize and a compact.

The fullsize was shot probably less than 100 times and spent most of its life in its box.

The compact was never fired and kept in a safe.

It seems that HK made a few stainless steel USPs in the 90's and then 2 or 3 batches (2008 and 2015 it seems). It is possible to find them in gunbroker, but generally as .45 acp or .40 S&W and *compact*, rarely as a 9mm or fullsize.

What else could I do but to buy them?

Is that x+1 or x+7?  Don't see a problem with either, just curious is all.  Wink

My wife thinks I'm becoming a gun nut.

Teach her to shoot too.

Unless she has a bad temper, in which case disregard this advice.

In the process of building an ar-15 in pistol form. 8.5" barrel "arm brace" in 300 blackout. Should be a fun little deer gun.

And when they don't multiply as quickly as you wish, you start doing small upgrades to some of them. Like pillar and glass bed a new stock, change the grips, change a scope that cost more than two rifles because it just wasn't quite what was wanted, reload another 1000 or so rounds because your favorite projectile is out of stock everywhere and you need to make sure the replacement works just as well. And the list goes on.

The spouse is quite understanding about my various hobbies as long as I don't mention the cost associated with said hobbies. So what if I have 5 motorcycles in the barn and only three of them actually run at the moment.

Now it is motorcycle related!  angel

Sounds like you scored pretty darned good on that purchase! Well done in my book!
Am lucky in the fact that my wife (Lesa) subscribes to the X+1 theory in guns among other things. She has a bunch and looking at more all the time.
