The post was lost due to late technical issues in the Vrcc site however here's the problem I had and the solution. 99 tourer , took it for a 3 hour ride, rolled her in the garage, next day no start, but turns over like it wants to start every time. Only thing I knew I did was I hosed the bike a day before the ride. Now two days later, No head lights upon turning the ignition on, no running lights at all. Main fuse, six fuse box and the dog bone 55A are all good. Battery is new and reads good. Cleaned the ground at the frame, nothing, same symptoms. Jumped it with car off, nothing, jumped the starter Selenoid terminals with screw driver, turns over again , no start, no neutral, only thing that's comes on is a fuel gauge I had Insralled years ago. To me the bike felt like it was starving for gas like someone had mentioned. Solution I unhooked one of the fuel lines going to the carb bank, petcock on on position , turn key on no spill...aha fuel pump not working ? Hit the brake lever, I have brake lights and turns just no running lights still including the headlights of course. You guessed it ignition switch isn't turning on completely. Took it apart found a wire had come undone from the back base of the ignition. Soldered it back on position, hit the key and bam everything came to life. Hope this helps someone in case this happens to them. Thank you all for the suggestions

Good trouble shooting, but too am curious about the fuel pump. Do you have a belly tank?

There are no fuel pumps on OEM Valks. Your wire repair probably solved the ignition issue.

Yes sir that little wire that came undone caused no power making the bike wanting to start but starving for fuel. Once I I opened the ignition housing and soldered it in place it brought everything to life. Headlights on and started right up
