Wiring help. The Shop Talk wiring diagram shows the gray wire routed to switched 12V. The diagram that came with the CCS-100 routes gray to a VSS. Can anyone confirm that the gray wire from the control goes to 12V switched?? Blue I know is coil. I just want to make sure this unit will work without the VSS with gray connected to 12V switched.

I don't have, nor have I installed this system, but I just looked over the Shoptalk page about it. It appears that the gray wire from the control switch does attach to a switched 12 volt power input. The gray and black wires for the VSS signal at the servo connector should be removed from the connector and not used. So, at this point, if you did remove the gray and black wire pair from the servo connector, you only have 1 gray wire left; from the switch unit. That is what appears to go to a 12V ignition-on circuit.

Like I said, no personal experience, but that's what it looks like from the Shoptalk writeup.
