Buckets of rain. No more drought in Northwest Florida. Couldn’t get much work done so I cleaned and waxed and vinyl protected the entire bike again. Ready for the Saturday ride to breakfast   Cheesy Cool.

Have you ever removed your rear fender section and then removed the tail light
from the fender section via the bolts on the underside of the fender  Shocked  Cheesy

I did it recently. There was a lot of dirt under there. When I saw it,
I thought of you, and it made me chuckle  Evil ...

What wax do you use? I've been using the Mothers Brazilian Carnauba wax the past half dozen years or so...I like it, it stands up well and produces a really deep shine.
Also, what do you "vinyl protect", and what product do you use?

Clean and shiny bikes run better .... yours must run REALLY well  cooldude

That Boms Away all metal polish is the very best stuff ever devised (esp on aluminum) (and not a gooey paste like most of them) (and better than White Diamond).   cooldude

The best wax I ever used was this (and it's not a wax but a polymer sealant).  https://www.amazon.com/Honda-Glare-Profesional-Polish-08731-GLR-001/dp/B00NO0IAKK

Yes I love that bombs away. The mothers spray wax is not very impressive at first use. I have like 50 coats now and it really provides a great shine. It holds up well but not as tough as more expensive products. I’d say I spray the bike down every 2 or three months. At first it was every week. What I really like is there is no white powder residue. I used to spend an hour with a toothbrush after a wax job. Not with the spray

I've never seen it in any store anywhere down here.

Internet only.

It's spendy but worth it.  It's liquidy not paste, and a little goes a long way.  But must never be set down open while working cause if you knock it over, it spills all over the place.

Great Stuff. Application is a bit fussy but it was really helpful dealing with the soft paint issues on my F6B and Gold Wing.

They are a lot of great waxes and they all work well.
The Honda sealant is made by Glare great stuff. I used the Racers Circle kit on my F6B which has soft paint.
It was a four step process that protected my paint and let the great shine.

The directions tell you to treat it like soft rubbing compound and do a first coat with hard small area polishing motions, then buff that off and do a second coat like a wax job.

I just do a good wash, then a single polish job (the stuff is kind of expensive and I only use it on my bikes).

Which reminds me, it's time to go out to my bike shed and bring everything in that doesn't do well freezing over the winter.  About two buckets full of stuff (in and out every year).

A combination family room, man cave, and workshop. Now that's an idea!

Nothing freezes in my family room.

I bet nothing freezes outside either.   Grin

I have a 20yo Sago palm tree in a big pot that I put outside every spring, and had to bring that in too.

It's the only tropical thing I have (except for some old tropical wt. BDUs).

I stand corrected.  I forget you're up there in the panhandle.
