Willow Springs mo

« on: November 10, 2019, 04:41:04 PM »

Well after a wonderful Sunday Morning service at the Church I attend went South to West Plains-needed some minor grocery items-back north to Willow Springs unload cage gear up and git my Knees in da breeze!  cooldude I got back onto US 63 south and rolled that to MO 14 west all the way to Ava Mo. Put in a splash of fuel and got onto MO 5 north til it intersected MO 76 East. MO 76 east to MO 95 North into Mountain Grove and fuel. Got onto US 60 east to Willow Springs and home. I did fill the tank all the way up in W S as it WILL be gittin cold here in a couple days!  Lips Sealed  132 miles today!
Well i guess the sulfur goes with the weather goin delta sierra. Before the sun comes up here tommorrow it will be in the 30s high winds and percipitation that might could tuen the ground white.  crazy2 In fact when i got back from my ride i moved Phatt Ghurl over towards the work bench so I'd be able to git the cage in Phatt Ghurls cave, My thermometer on the handle bars at one point showed 74 degrees F.  coolsmiley And we ain't sposed to crack the 50s til next weekend!  Undecided
Note of interest here. Stopped at Twin Bridges-jct MO 14 and MO 181-as i was dry and needed a drink of water. I had just put water jug back in the saddle bag and an SUV pulled in. Young man-VERY young as it turned out 17-was complimenting the bike and how good it looked. Then i told him She would be 21 in a couple months and the look on his face was priceless!  2funny All i had him do was to look at the VIN tag. He couldn't git over the Fact the Valkyrie was older than he was!  Roll Eyes  RIDE SAFE.

Well delta sierra reared it's butt ugly head. At 0930 here it was 29 degrees F and the wind Is crankin up. Garbage day is Monday here and those cans that weren't picked up by their respective owners have changed location(s) with the help of that icy wind,  Lips Sealed I treated my fuel-Stabil Marine-as I have no idea When I'll be able to ride again here. Also some of the schools in our northern counties are dismissing early. I fully expect a Long list of school closures tomorrow. Older I git the more I despise winter.  tickedoff Glad/Happy/Ecstatic i got that ride in yesterday!  cooldude RIDE SAFE.
