Jeff,
Great news indeed! Ummm, I'd never go so far as to say you 'look good', but I will say you look much, much better in that selfie than you did in Roanoke!!! Congrats on the continued progress... here's hoping it continues. BTW, your doctor probably wouldn't be a good passenger anyway, as those not drawn to it in the first place never really enjoy themselves... Not to worry, though, I'll bet Dinky is more than eager to join you!

Thanks everyone. And Bruce, thanks. I can’t see a big difference in looks but it’s nice to know you see an improvement, I need all the help I can get.

The last time I saw any of you at Roanoke I was in the middle of chemo and at least 20 lbs under weight. Today I am at least 25 lbs heavier and thankful for some tight pants. Nowadays the remission is holding and the blood numbers are so normal my doctor said last time. “You’re boring now “. I’ll take it! Then I reminded her (she doesn’t like motorcycles) that she promised to go for a ride with me if my platelets hit 50. They wee 55 last time so I challenged her to make good. The ride hasn’t happened, I suspect she’ll weasel out of it but that’s ok. Thanks for all the support and prayers. Things are great right now. Great to hear that. Which one do you have? I have CLL and in remission also. So far no kemo for me. David

I never met you but I'm glad to hear when anyone beats any cancer. I know a nurse that works in the ER and rides a Ural with a sidecar. Many of her coworkers are waiting to ride even though they might call it a murder cycle. Wish you continued healing.

Just wondering do you still have to take chemo or not. My doctor told me if I had to start it I would be on it for the rest of my life. Would be injected the first time and pills after that. Mine seems to be holding. Some months up a little and then down. But low enough to not have chemo. David

Now nothing as long as it stays in remission. PM me if you want to know the specific drugs that were used. It was all IV. One week on and three weeks off for six months

I hope I don't have to PM you on the matter. Just something we live with and learn to deal with. I go ever 4 months for blood work to make sure it is still in remission. David
