Anybody else see Garret whalin on Rudolph and Rudolph gittin beat on the gourd with his own helmet by Garret? Been awhile since I've seen anything THAT Brutal from one player to another. Jim Mcman gittin slammed to the turf by that green bay packer? I had switched back to see what the score was and caught the tail end of the live attack then a few replays! And today Garret splains it by-I lost my cool!  Roll Eyes Yeah-RIGHT. RIDE SAFE.

It's a good thing Jack Lambert wasn't playing in that game.  Just sayin.

As a born and bred Pittsburgher, I loved watching the Steelers, however I haven't watched a game since the NFL refused to put an end to the kapernick BS.  Don't miss it a bit.

There's a line between an excited player and a criminal assault. The local police should have stepped in and brought him off the field in handcuffs.

Eight seconds from a 14 point win!?  And against a quarterback!?  Is there a legitimate penalty for extreme stupidity?

We can't hear what was said but it obviously started with the meaningless, after the play, tackle.  Rudolph did try to remove Garret's helmet and he should have disengaged when his teammates restrained Garret but there is no excuse for Garret's actions.

The NFL has suspended Garrett indefinitely, for a minimum of the remainder of the regular season and playoffs. Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey received a three-game suspension for his role in the brawl. Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi received a one-game suspension. Both organizations were fined $250,000.

would not surprise me if they kick him out of the NFL forever, rightfully deserved.  If he would have just ripped his helmet off and tossed it or held onto it is all then 3-4 game suspension, but swinging that at his head is jail time for sure.  QB's lawyers will be in touch with that dirtbag's lawyers to either settle for millions or get jail time assault charges out of it.  Why not,  he is suspended all of this year so might as well spend his free time in jail right?

I wonder what was said though something had to be said to make him go crazy like that.  mental nut job to do something like that well above the heat of the moment and what really puzzles me is the Browns WON the game so why even care what happens on the last play of the game?  Very odd, something was said or done to provoke such madness, and they are not saying, at least for now.

The  nfl has become extremely boring quit watching years ago.  But have to agree with Goodell with  this suspension.

doubt any jail time from what I get out of it since the hit to the head did not cause any brain trauma damage, but being the sue happy world we live in if I was the QB I would be lawyering up and getting some of his moola out of him....   Roll Eyes

and here I see Kapernicky holding a private try out showcasing what little talent he has left with the social media vs. doing what the NFL wanted him to do and doing it at another facility by the book.  Yet again,  Kapernicky doing it HIS way or the hwy.  I would show him the hwy. and kick his butt to the curb to NEVER come back and highly doubt any NFL team is stupid enough to sign him.  All a big publicity stunt yet again for him.  If any NFL team signs him, I would make a clause in the contract that if he does not stand during the National Anthem, he gets terminated ASAP with NO payout.

anti-american soon to be a muslim like his radical girlfriend, kaper refused to sign the normal NFL legal papers that all tryouts sign. that is why the location was changed to a non NFL property and stated he was a no-show.  and I agree no NFL team will sign him and his distractions.

I'm NOT defending anyone.  And no "but..." will follow.

Did anyone see the QB try to pull off Garret's helmet just before Garret accomplished his effort?

4:00 mark on this video shows it....

bias view there. other vids and I watched the game, clearly show the QB pushing on garrets facemask trying to push him away due to the late take down, roughing the passer. seen many players do that over the yrs, push on the face mask esp trying to turn the helmet on their head so the player cannot see.

It's clear that Rudolph attempted to pull Garret's helmet.  However, the issue with Garret is not that he pulled off the quarterback's helmet but that he used that helmet as a club to strike the quarterback's head.

rudolph never grabbed his face mask to pull the helmet off. more like what i said trying to twist the helmet and while going down to slow his fall his hand pulled on the back of the helmet.

and now I just heard 2 NFL teams are foolish enough to consider him on their team creating nothing but DRAMA, something the NFL does not need right now.

swinging his helmet like that hitting him is downright stupid and foolish.  Criminal charges should follow as assault using that hard helmet as a weapon is worse than hitting with your fist by far.   Who in their right mind would do such a thing?   he snapped and deserves severe punishment.  I can see swinging with fists, but not a helmet.  I think there should be a difference in that.
