Hello All, I have scheduled to take my Interstate to Bob Aka "Attic Rat" for a December slot. I'm getting pretty excited for the road trip, driving from NC. Any suggestion for Do's and Don'ts for the road trip??  :

I'm booked for January. I bet you're as excited as I am for his service!

That ride sounds pretty crazy... isn't it going to be snowing on most of those roads during those times? I had mined shipped from california for $500 through UShip

I guess I should have said I’ll be hauling the bike due to the weather going out. But I will be taking my cold Wx gear with me.  Hopefully we’ll have a mild winter.

he did several things that weren't asked for but are highly recommended by him and I totally agree--1) the Standard valkyrie has very short clutch and front brake levers--and poor grips--he put all new stuff on and it is amazing--1 finger front brake lock-up!! the old set up I couldn't do it with a whole hand full--2)he put a huge rear tire on mine and adjusted my tire pressures and it handles like never before--3)he put that new shifter mounts advertised here that makes it more  stable--mine had worn the gasket(?) and was leaking and it does shift better now...the engine package is quite noticably more  powerful cooldude

Who makes the levers that were used to replace the OEM levers?

Hi jetmech:

"5 Hour Energy" will help keep you alert with no hangover effect.

PS - You have every reason to be excited about Bob's performance work.   I had mine done early spring of 2017 and never looked back with a bit of regret.  I say "thank you Bob" every time I pass a truck on a 2 lane highway.  He also replaced the levers on mine - it's a nice upgrade.

Regards,
Doug

Well #1 id you are taking your bike you will be riding NOT driving. If you have your gurl on a trailer then you are driving.  Other than that be ready for some good company from Bob a man I am proud to call a friend.

I would be interested in learning more about his services.  Is there a preferred way to contact him.  I have a 2003 Valkyrie Standard I would like to keep for five or so more years.  Cheesy

. . . Is there a preferred way to contact him. . . .

Look for the banner at the top of this page. It rotates from vendor to vendor, but eventually you will see this:
