Although quite a piece of engineering, my thoughts are "just because you can, doesn't mean you should." But this guy obviously has the coins to do this and does it for the same reason many of us do stuff to our bikes....we enjoy the challenge and have a deep sense of satisfaction when it turns out to be successful. My adapting HD controls/wiring to my Valk comes to mind. I wanted chrome controls and found it was easier and less expensive to go the HD route than removing my OEM controls and having them chromed. And parts were widely available at any HD shop if needed. A side benefit....by installing a module under the seat I also have self-canceling turns with 4-way available as well. And for those of you that have noticed over the years, losing the choke lever with the HD controls prompted me to devise a more appropriate system that's not prone to breaking the cable, something Honda should have done from the start. It was one of those "self-satisfying" projects. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6KWsIFqosohttps://www.autoblog.com/2019/11/18/thor24-3400-horsepower-semi-truck-custom/

3424 hp! Wow!
Being a Tim the Toolman fan, I’m always interested in more HP. But, having said that, that power must have an appropriate application. Other than potential research and the ultimate cool factor, I’m having a hard time seeing that monster under the hood of any road tractor. But then, who am I to question how another motor geek spends his $$$$.

Wow. My impression is, incredible waste of money. But it's HIS money so, there ya go. I've made dumb decisions from time to time but not quite this stupendous. "The difference between men & boys is the price of their toys." I'd bet if he had a pending ex and she sued for support, her prime exhibit in court could be this video. The judge would give her the whole 9 yards.

Some years back my Brothers T-bucket club was in Arkansas and I went to see the Iron. I believe it was T V Tommy Ivo had his bucket there with 2 G M C 6/71 blowers on top of I believe it was a Hemi. He let me sit in it and the first thing I noticed-as I suspected-an Extreme lack of forward vision. I read the Thor-24 article somewhere else and he addressed that situation with cameras. The WOW factor IS Undeniable. I would like to see That Monster up close and personal. But at 44' long ain't much trailer you could drag behind-legally. RIDE SAFE.

For the size of that engine the horsepower seams low? But whatever floats your boat This 8 cylinder puppy we tidied up, cut the bonnet (not the factory bonnet) & repainted had 1 8/71 blower made 1K horsepower with flow issues (pressure release plate was opening)...the sister engine was near half that horsepower on street fuel (more room for exhaust headers flowed better)

Well over the road diesels anywho. RIDE SAFE.

Hey Leathel, love the look of that split bumper Camaro....one of my favorite years/models. As for $$ spent on the big rig, I have to agree....a waste of money but at Mark said; it's his money. If I were that loaded with spendable cash, I'd probably invest it in an airplane. To each their own I guess!

Dennis, I like how you think. Not too heavy on the wine....or women. However, heavy women will be warm in winter and shady in summer.
