Between yard work, family commitments and early winter WX, this was the first ride I took in November. Thankfully the rain yesterday washed the salt of the roads. So I headed out at about 12:30 when temps warmed to just over 40, for a steak and cheese sub at TC Lando's in Clinton. Lando's is a steak and cheese favorite in eastern MA with locations in several towns in the area. I chose Clinton because it's a nice ride on 62 past the Wachusett Reservoir dam to get there. And the ride back presents lots of good options, too.
I order a small because it's almost a big as a large at most places. It was delicious!

From there I headed west on 62 through Lancaster and Sterling, where I picked up 140 south. Took 140 south all the way to Upton and then headed east back to my house. A real pretty ride. Felt good to get out. Had the Gerbing jacket liner and various heat on the bike going. Was plenty warm. 67 miles all together. I hope to get at least on more ride in before the end of the season. We'll see.
