$2.09 to $2.19. as I understand it some areas with large metro areas need different "boutique" blends as I've heard it called. Thinkin where you reside Alien yer helping fund some "free chit" programs. The price you posted IS a tad bit more than double what I pay. I also KNOW just cuz I pay more per gallon I do NOT git more M P G. When I was still drivin big truck most of the companies I drove for had me fill up before crossing into Ca. And I've been retired comin up on 11 year. Was Not fueling in Ca. in the very late 60s and up until I retired. I have felt yer pain here in Mo. But that's been couple years back. I had posted about I thought I'd NEVER see the day a M/C would be more than a 20 dollar bill to fill. RIDE SAFE.

We all must live with the decisions we have made. I chose to move to KY and then on to Mississippi. There are places I would not move to regardless of the price of fuel. But, the price of fuel (or road taxes placed on that fuel) are also is a reflection of policies, programs and "state" spending that make me glad I don't live in certain states.

$.61/gal in CA ! Thats the highest state tax rate in the country. But a state tax doesn't justify that kind of price. Something else is going on. My last fill-up was $2.15, now its up $.20 more for the holidays.

$2.17 at Costco in Minneapolis Minnesota. However our Governor, Taxing Timmy wants to add .43 on top of our current gas tax.

The Phoenix area is 2.979 but 85 miles NE of here in Payson, it's 30-35 Cents less. It makes no sense because the fuel has to be trucked longer distances up in the mountains.

I'm in San Diego.. gas prices here have always been high even for Ca. They're constantly manipulating prices here.. if the price comes down they have to shut down a refinery for 'maintenance'.. no new refineries in sight and the leftists have a lock on power, so no relief in the foreseeable future. Ca. gas prices are higher than Hawaii And these geniuses won't build a new road or fix potholes, in my hood they're putting in roundabouts, which I like.. but fix the friggin roads first

Sam's Club in Grand Junction, Colorado just a couple of days ago $2.67 for regular, 85 octane w/ethanol. Just checked gas buddy and it's reporting $2.53 there. Volatility as Christmas approaches. Remainder of the area is $2.80-2.85 Aspen? $4.20 for regular, 85 octane "Welcome to Aspen, Check your Credit Cards"

A bargain right now at 1.04/litre. That is 3.93 cdn/gal, or @ 2.85 usd/gal with the current exchange rate.
There is federal, provincial and the lovely new carbon tax included in that.

$4/gl, +/- 10 cents.
Gas gets trucked in from the Bay area a few hundred miles distant, or floated in via a sea-going barge. Add another dime for trucking to more distant remote areas. Gas tax funds every aspect of the Calif. State DOT.

gas buddy works but not always accurate lots of times say at kwik trip their pricing goes way up for no good reason so I have mostly stopped going there and now instead Costco is by far the cheapest around anywhere you go I think. was kwik trip 2.449 while costco is 2.279. I will drive the extra 2 miles out of my way to Costco weekly to save 10-20 cents cheaper per gallon on gas putting on 350 miles per week just to/from work. Next cheapest is at say 2.399 so costco is usually 10-15 cents cheaper than everyone else in my area.

Alien - this will cheer you up, here in the UK we pay $6.23 a gallon (rough calculation based on 3.785 ltrs to a US gallon and $1.32 to £1). Of course we went metric in 1972 so fuel is sold in litres, but road signs are in miles and so are speedo's. Conspiracy theorists feel it's a government plot so we have no idea what our vehicles do to the gallon. Latest tests show beer is still sold in pints.
