Beautiful Valkyrie.  Kept telling Trish it would look great in our garage and she kept laughing that it will not fit.  Love the paint job.

Pretty cool with paint on the inside of faring and speaker pods.

Was this the one that was advertised last year in Mount Horeb WI for awhile for I think around 8K?

I remember the paint scheme very well and liked it saw it on Craigslist,  but the 8K  (or was it asking 8.5K) price was out of my comfort zone.

Yes, that's the one.  He wasn't trying that hard to sell it last year.  He was asking $7250 now.  I got it for $6750.  Not the cheapest out there, but with the chrome farkles and paint, still a decent deal.

I was pretty sure that was the one about 20 miles from me last year asking 8K or above.  At that price I did not think he was going to go much lower thanks to that nice paint scheme that I did drool over though.    Like you said, he was probably not at that time willing to go down much but under 7K you done good IMO!  SCORE!!  cooldude

The pipes are Cobra 6 into 6 (I think); I'll probably switch them out.  The seat is Ultimate.

When you look close at the picture with the key in it, you
can see that besides all that other stuff, the bike is CLEAN.
Look down at the carburetors and where the intake runners
connect to the block and how shiny black the frame is...

My bike is a good Valkyrie, but will never have a new-looking
motor and frame like that again...

F6Gal,

Love your new 'toy', just in time for Christmas too!

If the pipes are Corbin's 6 into 6 and you switch them out, I'd love to have first chance at them.  Please let me know what you'd want for them.

Thanks

Me Either.  I love the paint on that bike.  I think I first saw it at the La Crosse Inzane and voted for it as best in show or paint or what ever category it was entered in.  Who was the previous owner?

Connie,

Nice looking ride! Is that a replacement or yet another addition to y'all's stable? As SmokinJoe often says, "You can't hide money!" No kidding, for an aging scoot that truly is an eye-catcher... Looking forward to seeing it in person one of these days...

I've reevaluated my jealousy levels, and while this bike is indeed GORGEOUS, I also know how cleaning and polishing a bike is anathema to me, and thus within a year it would be dirty as all get out, so I'm glad it went to a home that will wash and wax it (AND Ride the snot outta it!) and not mine, where the closest it got to a wash would be riding in the rain.....

too bad he was not willing last year to go down to 7K or I would have stole it.

It was advertised on craigslist forever so glad someone got it even if not me....

am sure that paint job, to some, is worth 1 grand, just not that much to me although is pretty nice one of a kind.  I would be too afraid to put the first scratch in it vs. mine near 20 years old and tons of tiny scratches if get up close.

cost to do vs. what it is worth now to purchase is another thing all together.

from what I remember, I thought it had a nice dragon on the top rear trunk.  Can you give us a pic of that as well.  I thought it had it and well done.

Interesting.  No wonder he asked if we were picking it up in an enclosed trailer.  LOL.  He would probably have a heart attack if he saw it after its ride home from Wisconsin in an open trailer.

I will keep you in mind when they come off.  As you can see the headers are blued; which is to be expected with those single walls.  Shipping cost to Ohio likely won't be pretty, but I'll check it out.

Thanks Bruce!  For right now it's an addition, but my brother wants one of the others.  I offered him his choice of 2.  Once he decides, this one will replace that one.  The money is currently hiding in the other guy's pocket.  Haha!  Might be riding it to InZane XX.

The previous owner's name is Mark.  He's a member of the VRCC, but not very active.  It makes sense that you saw it in LaCrosse, since he lives in Wisconsin.
