Wow sorry to hear about your foot. I was up on your side of Rolla today and it was a great day to ride. I had to take the Spyder to Cowtown for its 1st service. I hope my road will dry up some mud so I can get the Valks out today I must admit the 3 wheels on the Spyder has allowed me to ride several days in the last month that wouldn't have been possible on 2 wheels however it will never replace either Valk. I think a few us us might try to ride to Forsyth by Branson on the 26th of April supposed to be a bikeshow/swapmeet. If your up to it and have they day off your welcome to join in.

Glad to see you on the new board Lee. I did not know you got a Spyder. I know Rick up at Cowtown. I have purchased a few trailers from him over the years.I usually dont have my schedule for the next month, until the last days of the previous month. But would love to ride with you.

Thanks Joe
It sucks. This second round of steroids are helping. I have had a few cases but none this severe. Doc said to lay off the wiskey. When the liver is working on the alcohol, it cant remove the uric acid that causes gout. So my night caps are on hold for a little bit. Its hell getting older.

I had gout 20 years ago lasted a couple of years, a mild case compared to yours I guess. I went to a health food store and asked them if they had something for it. They sold me a months supply of these ampules about 2 inches long made of glass. I drank this stuff daily for a month. Tasted terrible but got rid of the gout. Haven't had it since. Sorry don't remember the name of the stuff.
Good luck

She has been struggling with it for the past few years on and off.
When she eats pork or excess salt it inflames it again.

Indomethacin is your pharmaceutical friend. Read side effects before taking.

Knudsens Black Cherry juice is your organic friend. Any not from concentrate black cherry juice has something that helps purge the uric acid from your body. Get some today and start drinking it.

Bush Natural Light beer will give me gout in my left big toe and right knee. Miller Lite will not - I dunno why.

Drink lotsa water to help flush out the uric acid.

Be carefull,, Gout is caused by high levels of uric acid. I had it 4 years ago and it is also associated with kidney stones. Had those too and had to drink 2 quarts of water a day and any alcohol will irritate the situation. Drink plenty of water. Ever since I drink 2 quarts of water a day and cut my meat intake in half,, the gout never returned.

I finally got over this bout. I have cut my evening drink out. I have only had two drinks in three weeks.

I changed my diet too, or the Wife did. I am about 75 percent vegitarian now. I have eaten so much salad, I think Im going to turn into a rabbit.

The main thing was the Doc said was everytime you get a gout outbreak, the uric acid crystals(similar to kidney stones, just in the joints)cause permant damage to the joint. They are like sand and wear the cartilage out of the joints until nothing but bone remains.

Britman I cant find any real cherry juice around here, Its all thet crap that is full of water and sugar. It only has like 10% juice.
